Job summary

Firefly Aerospace in Wisconsin is looking for a Principal Propulsion Engineer to lead the design and development of flight fluid systems across their launch vehicles and spacecraft. The role involves collaboration with various teams and overseeing the complete lifecycle of fluid systems from concept through operation.

The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience in the field, strong technical skills, and a passion for innovation in space transportation. A generous benefits package is also provided.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in aerospace fluid systems or propulsion.
  • Proven ownership of a fluid subsystem through design, build, and test.
  • Demonstrated hands-on experience with fluid test hardware.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the full lifecycle development of flight fluid systems.
  • Define system requirements for propulsion and fluidic subsystems.
  • Mentor early-career engineers and provide technical reviews.
