Job summary

Certified Power Inc. is seeking an engineering professional to support hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems. The role involves partnering with customers and sales to define requirements, develop cost-aware solutions, and deliver drawings and Bills of Materials for production release.

Ideal candidates will have relevant fluid power education or experience and proficiency with SolidWorks/AutoCAD, Office tools, and a willingness to travel domestically up to 15%.

Qualifications

• Two-year technical degree in fluid power or college degree with fluid power coursework, or 3-5 years fluid power experience.
• 2+ years of vehicle systems or industrial systems engineering experience.
• Fluent in SolidWorks and AutoCAD; proficient with Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Work with customers and sales to determine requirements.
• Develop solutions considering cost and delivery requirements.
• Provide quotes and drawings in line with system complexity.
• Test and commission new systems with customers.
• Create drawings and bills of material for production release.

Education

Two-year technical degree in Fluid power

College degree with fluid power course work

3-5 years fluid power applications experience
