Job summary

Flow, a layer one blockchain platform, is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to help build the decentralized computer powering Web3 apps, games, and digital assets. You will work on core Flow protocol components, improving performance, scalability, and reliability in a fully remote, global team.

You will tackle ambiguous problems, design robust software, and contribute to open-source efforts while ensuring high-availability operations and strong cross-team collaboration within the Flow ecosystem.

Qualifications

• Experience with distributed systems, scalability, and algorithm engineering, preferably in Golang.
• Experience with building scalable solutions in a resource-constrained environment, performance optimization and profiling.
• Knowledge of byzantine-fault-tolerant system design and high-availability services.

Responsibilities

• Build and evolve Flow protocol core components for throughput, latency, availability, and security.
• Maintain, optimize, and operate high-availability services in a global, remote team.
• Contribute to architecture decisions and design proposals with stakeholders in the web3 ecosystem.
• Engage with the developer community and contribute to open-source projects.
