Job summary

The University of Chicago/CAT Facility seeks a Flow Cytometry Sr. Analyst to support researchers by operating and maintaining cell analyzers and sorters, assisting with experimental design, and ensuring compliance with institutional policies.

Responsibilities include training staff, performing QC on BD LSR II, LSR Fortessa, and Aria systems, and contributing to data acquisition, analysis, and manuscript preparation; a degree and 2–5 years' experience required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor''s degree in a related field required.
• 2–5 years of related lab experience required.
• Experience with flow cytometry preferred.
• Knowledge of SOPs and regulatory policies.

Responsibilities

• Operate cell analyzers and sorters and assist in experimental design.
• Maintain and QC BD LSR II/Fortessa and Aria systems.
• Train CAT staff in equipment use.
• Assist with data collection, analysis and manuscript preparation.
• Ensure compliance with institutional and federal policies.
