Job summary

JCSI is seeking a Floor Tech Lead for the 3rd shift at our Normal, IL campus. This hands-on leadership role requires diagnosing floor issues, directing a small team, and performing restoration on concrete, terrazzo, and carpet surfaces. You'll oversee chemical mixing, equipment use, and process quality while ensuring safety and compliance.

The position offers a 3rd shift schedule (10:00 p.m.–6:30 a.m.), weekly pay, and overtime at 1.5x after 40 hours. A comprehensive benefits package is included.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on floor-care experience in an industrial, commercial, or manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of floor-care chemicals, restoration processes, equipment operation, and pad selection.
• Experience in a lead or working-supervisor role.

Responsibilities

• Lead all floor-care operations across a large industrial campus.
• Diagnose floor conditions and determine correct restoration processes.
• Supervise and coach a small floor-care team on nightly workflow.
• Operate and maintain floor-care equipment and select appropriate pads.
• Maintain documentation of cleaning activities and equipment checks.
