Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a skilled aircraft maintenance technician in Mojave, CA to perform production and flight line testing, inspections, refueling, and complex mechanical system work. You will interpret technical documents and schematics while maintaining and repairing equipment on mission-critical systems. The role requires an FAA A&P license, active U.S.

government Secret clearance, and the ability to obtain FAA Class II Medical. Strong communication and wiring experience are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma and 4 years aircraft maintenance experience (Principal) / 6 years (Sr. Principal).
• FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license required.
• Active US Government Secret Clearance required.
• Ability to obtain FAA Class II Medical.
• Strong communication skills.
• Experience with wire harness building and repair.

Responsibilities

• Perform production and flight line testing and maintenance.
• Support and perform flight operations including inspections and refueling operations.
• Perform repairs, modifications, installations, and test mechanical systems.
• Work from technical documents and schematics.
• Construct, troubleshoot, and maintain complex equipment and systems.
