Job summary

KBR, Inc is seeking a highly skilled Senior Flight Test Manager to support AFRL’s Autonomous Air Refueling research. You will provide expert flight test guidance, manage test plans, monitor vendor activities and advise government leadership.

Location is on-site at WPAFB, OH with moderate travel. The role requires 6+ years in DoD/test and evaluation and an active Secret clearance, plus strong program management and risk management capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
• 6+ years of test and evaluation experience on DoD/AF programs.
• Ability to verify and validate system requirements.
• Ability to lead planning and execution events.
• Proficiency with acquisition tools and processes in DoD environments.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to brief leadership.
• Active Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with vendors and test orgs to develop detailed test plans.
• Liaise with test units, contractors, users and program offices.
• Manage cost, schedule, conduct and strategy of T&E activities.
• Provide technical input and briefings to leadership and industry.
• Monitor contractor performance and assess program objectives.
• Coordinate activities among engineering, scheduling, data management, test and logistics.
• Support acquisition-phase testing and risk mitigation strategies.
• Analyze flight test data and prepare detailed reports.
• Ensure safety standards and regulatory compliance.
