Job summary

Reliable Robotics Corporation seeks a Senior Flight Test Engineer to join the Flight Test & Integration team in advancing automated aviation systems. You will verify modified flight control systems, manage test campaigns, and ensure end-to-end functionality from lab to the vehicle.

The role requires 7+ years of experience in experimental flight testing, drafting test artifacts, and ensuring rigorous risk assessments, with travel up to 10% and adherence to U.S. export controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace, or related discipline.
• 7+ years of experimental flight test experience.
• Experience drafting test plans, test cards, hazard analyses, and acting as test director during a flight/mission.
• Experience with aeronautical VHF radio calls.
• Demonstrated ability to complete system-level risk assessments.

Responsibilities

• Verify the function and capabilities of modified flight control systems for a remotely operated autoflight system.
• Verify end-to-end functionality and assess all test requirements.
• Engage with multiple teams to understand the vehicle's capabilities.
• Act as the responsible engineer for the vehicle and test director during flight campaigns.
