Job summary

Pow.bio is seeking a Flight Software Engineer to design and develop mission-critical software for autonomous satellite buses. Candidates must have over 6 years of experience in flight software and a Bachelor's degree in CS, ES or equivalent. Responsibilities will include software lifecycle management and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

The role offers a compensation range of $185,000 - $215,000 a year plus comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of total flight software experience.
• Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, Rust.
• Knowledge of embedded Linux operating systems, system administration and creating Linux distributions (Yocto).

Responsibilities

• Design and own mission critical software applications for satellite systems.
• Support commissioning of spacecraft during launch and early operations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to baseline product requirements.
