Job summary

Northrop Grumman's Launch Vehicles Division in Chandler, AZ seeks a System Engineer Level 6 - Flight Algorithm IPT lead to guide algorithm design and integration for intercept capabilities in a hypersonic environment. You will lead a multidisciplinary team, manage risks, schedules, and costs while coordinating with program management and flight/ground test teams.

The role requires active Secret Clearance and U.S. citizenship, with relocation assistance potentially available and 10% travel.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree with 14 years of experience, Master's 12 years, or Ph.D. 10 years; an additional 4 years may be considered in lieu of a degree.
U.S. Citizenship is required.
Active U.S. Government Secret Clearance required.
Ability to obtain Special Program Access (SAP).
Experience leading technical teams.
Understanding of Government systems engineering requirements.

Responsibilities

Lead the Algorithm IPT activities, overseeing technical, cost, schedule, and resource execution.
Coordinate cross-functional teams to meet program milestones and manage risks.
Prepare and deliver technical briefings and reviews for internal and external stakeholders.
