Job summary

A leading logistics company seeks a vehicle maintenance technician based in Virginia. In this role, you will provide timely maintenance for the vehicle fleet and ground support equipment, performing essential duties such as preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs. The ideal candidate will possess four years of automotive experience and a high school diploma, while vocational training and ASE certification are preferred. You must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and demonstrate effective communication skills. This position requires a valid driver’s license and the ability to work independently.

Qualifications

  • Four (4) years of fleet or automotive maintenance experience.
  • Knowledge of using and operating automotive testing equipment.
  • Ability to lift and maneuver vehicle components.

Responsibilities

  • Provide maintenance for FedEx vehicle fleet and ground support equipment.
  • Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs.
  • Document maintenance activities according to regulations.
