Job summary

FedEx is seeking an experienced maintenance technician to provide timely, quality maintenance for the company’s vehicle fleet and ground support equipment. You will document work orders, order parts, and ensure compliance with OSHA and DOT standards.

You will guide and support a staff of technicians and trainees, and participate in ongoing maintenance tasks. A high school diploma or GED, plus vocational training and ASE Master certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• Four (4) years fleet, automotive or truck vehicle advanced technical repair and maintenance experience.
• Knowledge of hydraulic, gasoline, diesel, electric, and/or hybrid equipment troubleshooting.
• Ability to read and speak English sufficiently for communication and official inquiries.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance for FedEx vehicle fleet and ground support equipment.
• Document work with repair orders and parts ordering using FedEx systems.
• Ensure work complies with OSHA and DOT standards.
• Guide and support technicians and trainees.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
