Job summary

GP Solution seeks an Experienced Technical Manager to lead a fleet of Articulated Tug Barges, combining technical leadership, people management and direct vessel responsibility across operations and maintenance.

You will oversee Technical and Assistant Technical Superintendents, manage OPEX and CAPEX budgets, drive maintenance standards, plan drydock work, monitor vessel condition, and coordinate with contractors and suppliers while ensuring compliance with class, regulatory and company

Qualifications

• Senior experience in marine engineering, vessel technical management or fleet operations.
• Experience leading technical personnel or superintendents.
• Strong knowledge of vessel maintenance, repairs and dry dockings.

Responsibilities

• Lead Technical and Assistant Technical Superintendents and oversee fleet technical oversight.
• Manage OPEX and CAPEX budgets and drive maintenance standards.
• Oversee drydock planning and shipyard projects, monitor vessel condition and planned maintenance.
• Coordinate with contractors and technical suppliers; ensure compliance with class, regulatory and company requirements.
• Conduct regular vessel visits and shipyard attendance.
