Job summary

TruGreen is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to perform scheduled and preventative maintenance on production equipment, fleet vehicles, and specialized equipment. You will diagnose, repair, order parts, and maintain accurate service records in an electronic system.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED with 5 years of automotive mechanic experience or equivalent, ASE certification or completion of an Automotive Technology program.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED plus 5 years automotive mechanic experience or equivalent.
• ASE Certification required.
• Automotive Technology Program completion from a certified school required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnoses and repairs fleet vehicle chassis, back-end tank, pump and spray systems.
• Diagnoses and repairs tractors, forklifts, small engines and specialized equipment (aerators, seeders, spreaders, etc.).
• Documents all repairs in an electronic maintenance management system.
• Maintains parts inventory and keeps work area clean and orderly.
• Arranges, follows up and documents outsourced maintenance performed by vendors and local service providers.
• Develops and executes preventative maintenance programs.
• Prepares and manages maintenance budget.
• Responds to vehicle and equipment breakdowns in field as needed/required.
