Job summary

Republic Services is seeking a Fleet Maintenance Supervisor to lead a shop team responsible for preventive maintenance and repairs on diesel and alternative-fuel trucks, containers, and heavy equipment.

The role emphasizes safety compliance, daily shop huddles, performance coaching, and managing parts inventory and budget. You will coordinate repairs with the Maintenance Manager to minimize downtime and ensure regulatory adherence.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• ASE Certification required (T3, T4, T5, T6, T7, T2, Master).
• Experience with heavy equipment maintenance and DOT/OSHA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead technicians to complete repairs safely and efficiently.
• Schedule and prioritize maintenance and repairs to reduce downtime.
• Perform quality control inspections and coaching as needed.
• Manage parts inventory and budget within approved scope.
