Job summary

Zeeco is seeking a Flare Process Engineer to lead the final design of our custom flare equipment and support project execution. You will evaluate and design flare systems and perform combustion dynamics tests at our world-class facility.

The role requires interpreting detailed customer specs, performing hydraulic and thermal calculations, and ensuring drawings meet standards. Strong analytical and teamwork skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering with 7-10 years related experience.
• MS degree preferred in engineering discipline.

Responsibilities

• Provides engineering support to the Project Execution group. Reviews Turn Over Packages and detailed customer specs. Calculations include hydraulic, thermal, auditory, combustion, dispersion, and two-phase flow.
• Check drawings to ensure design standards are followed.
• Sets design standards and limits for projects.
• Performs a final review of designs before release to shop for production.
• Test Flare equipment in Test Facility.
• Resolve field issues as they arise.
