Job summary

Pilot Assessments is seeking a Lead Fixed-Wing Captain to command Part 91/135 flights, plan and review flight operations, and assess risks for each leg. You’ll coordinate with scheduling, maintenance, and the Safety Management System while providing exceptional service to passengers.

The role requires 3,000+ total fixed-wing hours, 1,500+ PIC hours, and 1,000+ jet hours, with ATP and medicals. On-call availability with relocation near FLL may be required.

Qualifications

  • ATP (unrestricted) and medicals valid for flight operations.
  • 3,000+ total fixed-wing hours; 1,500+ PIC hours; 1,000+ jet hours.
  • G280 or G550 type rating is advantageous.
  • Clean FAA record with no investigations.
  • Part 135: able to pass check ride and PIC currency.
  • On-call availability with 2-hour notice.
  • Willingness to relocate near FLL or within driving distance.
  • Eligible for unrestricted international ops under Parts 91/135.

Responsibilities

  • Act as PIC for domestic and international flights per FARs/ICAO.
  • Prepare and review flight plans, performance, fuel, weather/NOTAMs.
  • Complete and mitigate Flight Risk Assessments for each leg.
  • Participate in Safety Management System (SMS) activities.
  • Coordinate with maintenance, scheduling, and cabin crew.
  • Deliver professional service to passengers and stakeholders.
  • Maintain disciplined appearance and communication.
