Job summary

PNC's Asset Management Group – Investment Office in Philadelphia seeks a seasoned fixed income researcher to support CDI/THOR with credit analysis, valuation, and portfolio recommendations. You will contribute to risk-aware decision making and client-focused investment strategies.

In this role, you will build and maintain models, analyze data, and help inform portfolio construction in a fast-paced environment, with strong emphasis on accuracy and collaboration across teams.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of relevant, direct industry experience
• Experience with SMA trading and portfolio maintenance in investment management
• Familiarity with equity direct indexing solutions including customization and tracking error management
• Strong ability to work with large datasets, sourcing, cleaning, and validating data for analysis
• Programming or quantitative skills (Python or SQL) to build or enhance models and analytics

Responsibilities

• Provide fixed income research coverage across assigned sectors
• Analyze financial statements, industry data, and market dynamics to develop credit profiles and valuation frameworks
• Support issuer and security recommendations using financial models and data analysis
• Produce portfolio recommendations grounded in financial, technical, and valuation metrics
