The role involves building systematic portfolios, analyzing large data sets, and leveraging quantitative methods to balance active risk with client objectives.

The ideal candidate has experience in SMA trading, equity direct indexing, and strong programming skills (Python/SQL).

Qualifications

• SMA trading experience in an investment management environment.
• Familiarity with equity direct indexing, customization, rebalancing.
• Ability to source, clean, and validate large datasets for analytics.
• Programming or quantitative skills (Python, SQL) to build or enhance models.
• Demonstrated interest in financial markets and portfolio construction.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Experience using FactSet and Bloomberg for research.
• Progress toward CFA designation is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide fixed income research coverage on assigned issuers and sectors.
• Analyze statements, data, and market dynamics to develop valuation frameworks.
• Support issuer and security recommendations with models and analyses.
