Job summary

King County invites applications for a Senior Portfolio Manager to join the KCIP investment team. This role develops, recommends, implements and monitors all KCIP investments and advises the Finance Committee on financial matters.

With $10B under management, the role partners with the CIO and other managers to ensure prudent cash flow, liquidity, and performance reporting, while meeting policy objectives and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Accounting, Business, or related field.
• Experience in strategy development or operational planning in financial services.
• 6+ years in portfolio management, trade initiation, credit analysis, fixed income, and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily cash management and related investment accounting functions.
• Interact with teams and respond to clients for accurate and timely resolutions.
• Report on KCIP performance verbally and in writing.
• Oversee investment pool distribution process.
• Collaborate with CIO and portfolio managers on KCIP matters.
