Overview
The primary role of the Senior Fixed Income Analyst position will be to oversee the evaluation process for corporate credit instruments as part of ICE’s Pricing and Reference Data Group. Strong knowledge of fixed income markets and experience in the corporate bond market is a must.
Responsibilities
- Daily evaluation of fixed income securities using proprietary models
- Credit spread analysis of primary and secondary markets
- Maintenance of pricing curves
- Collaboration with pricing analysts as well as product development and business analyst teams
- Establishing and maintaining market contacts; interaction with market participants
- Interpretation of market information and applying to the evaluation process
- Responding to time critical daily customer inquiries and challenges
- Researching and furthering specialist knowledge of assigned markets
- Monitoring news and market conditions and providing commentary as required
- Undertaking of ad-hoc research projects as directed by management
Knowledge And Experience
- Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) preferred
- Strong understanding of global financial markets and the forces impacting fixed income movements and determinants of security valuation
- 5+ years of trading or analyzing fixed income securities
