Essential Job Functions
  1. Responds to inquiries and resolves discrepancies involving simple to moderately complex financial transactions, requiring an understanding of policies and procedures.
  2. Acts as liaison with other departments, divisions, or organizations.
  3. Operates accounting software to record, store, and analyze financial information.
  4. Performs calculations and produces documents using calculators, typewriters, and copy machines.
  5. Debits, credits, and totals accounts on spreadsheets and databases, ensuring accuracy.
  6. Checks figures and documents for correctness and proper coding.
  7. Reconciles records and reports discrepancies.
  8. Responds to questions related to financial records and information.
  9. Reviews and approves purchase orders, check requests, expense reports, and budget transfers for accuracy.
  10. Calculates costs based on estimates, quotations, and price lists.
  11. Generates reports for management use.
  12. Performs general office duties such as filing and answering calls.
  13. Inventories and maintains records of real property and equipment.
  14. Converts fixed asset origination tags to permanent tags and maintains records of disposed assets.
  15. Researches missing fixed assets.
  16. Assists in developing training materials and trains users.
  17. Serves as trainer and mentor for junior staff.
  18. Complies with policies, procedures, and regulations.
  19. Completes special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
  • Knowledge of MS Office Suite and basic database reporting tools.
  • Clerical and administrative procedures.
  • English language proficiency.
