Our client is seeking a Senior Fixed Asset and Lease Accountant to join their team. 100% remote position. Lease accounting and fixed assets experience is required. Must possess excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to collaborate with various internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

The Senior Fixed Asset and Lease Accountant will be responsible for:

• Performing fixed asset subledger maintenance and reconciliation
• Regularly monitoring and tracking capital projects
• Overseeing lease accounting process, including identifying, classifying, and recording leases
• Competing monthly fixed asset and lease schedules preparation and analysis
• Performing lease agreements review and validation
• Assisting with financial statements, audit schedules, and footnote disclosures preparation
• Assisting with audit activities
• Maintaining ERP system modules and software

The ideal Senior Fixed Asset and Lease Accountant will possess these skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related discipline
• 3-5 years lease accounting and/or fixed asset accounting experience
• 501(c)(3) non profit accounting requirements knowledge
• ASC 842 lease accounting standards and related systems knowledge
