Job summary

You will run chair fitness, balance training, stretching, low-impact aerobics, aqua aerobics, supervise safety, coordinate orientations, conduct private sessions, and collaborate with Lifestyle, Nursing, and Therapy teams.

Qualifications

• Certification in Group Fitness Instruction or related field.
• Experience leading aqua aerobics.
• Experience working with older adults.

Responsibilities

• Lead group and individual fitness classes for older adults.
• Modify exercises for varying mobility levels and conditions.
• Promote wellness and resident dignity through encouragement.
• Monitor safety and proper form during classes.
• Coordinate orientation and assessment for new residents.
• Conduct private sessions and collaborate with outside vendors.
• Collaborate with Lifestyle, Nursing and Therapy teams.
• Maintain attendance records and safety standards.
