Job summary

City of Loveland is seeking a Senior Fitness Instructor to provide safe, engaging class instruction and develop lesson plans for registered participants. You will participate in required trainings and safety meetings, inspect environments, and handle emergencies as needed.

The role includes maintaining accurate participant records, supporting promotional activities, and collaborating with a Recreation Coordinator.

Qualifications

• Instructor II requires GED or high school diploma.
• Instructor III requires GED or high school diploma, 2-year degree preferred.
• Instructor IV requires GED or high school diploma, Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 1 year experience for Instructor II; 3 years for Instructor III; 4 years for Instructor IV.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe and effective class instruction.
• Develop and implement lesson plans.
• Participate in trainings and safety meetings.
• Inspect classroom and equipment for safety.
• Handle emergencies per procedures.
• Maintain participant records and admin tasks.
