Job summary

Energy Facility Site Evaluation Council is seeking a Fiscal Analyst 4 to act as the accounting expert and budget advisor for the agency. The role supports financial structure, invoice payment, cost allocation, and contract oversight across the state.

The FA4 will coordinate with DES staff and other agencies, develop policy documents, maintain accounting procedures, and present annual fiscal reports to leadership. A demanding but impactful position within EFSEC.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of advanced fiscal management experience.
• Familiarity with state policies and travel regulations.

Responsibilities

• Mentor staff and share knowledge with a broad audience.
• Review, create, monitor and renew state-wide contracts for the agency.
• Ensure travel complies with statewide guidance and review exemptions.
• Verify all payments meet required statewide procedures.
• Present annual fiscal reports to executive staff and the Council.
• Develop internal controls and support accounting audits.
