Job summary

Princeton Precision Group in Florida is seeking an experienced First Article Inspector to join our aerospace/defense manufacturing team. You will program and operate CMMs and perform first article inspections to ensure conformance with engineering drawings.

The role requires expert Calypso programming, GD&T knowledge, AS9102 familiarity, and the ability to work with engineering and production to resolve nonconformances. We offer strong benefits and advancement opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience performing first article inspections (FAI) and first piece inspection to verify parts meet specifications.
• Ability to prepare and execute CMM programs for first article inspection of aerospace components.
• Document inspection results and identify non-conformances or deviations from drawings.

Responsibilities

• Program and operate CMM machines (manual or automated) for aerospace/defense components.
• Develop and modify CMM programs from engineering drawings and CAD models.
• Review drawings, specs, and work instructions to ensure compliance with standards.
• Collaborate with engineering and production to resolve discrepancies during FAI.
