Job summary

SK hynix memory solutions America Inc. is seeking a firmware engineer to design and implement the Flash Interface Layer for SSDs. You will integrate code across modules, resolve issues, and debug in FPGA/ASIC environments. Collaboration with SoC, hardware, and validation teams is essential.

The role requires 5+ years in firmware/embedded, strong C/C++ skills, and experience with NAND flash commands and kernel-level firmware development. Strong debugging and code review abilities are valued.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in firmware/embedded development.
• Experience with NAND flash commands and operations.
• Experience developing NAND management algorithms or error control coding.
• Proficient in C/C++ programming and kernel-level firmware for SSD/NAND controllers.
• Hands-on debugging with JTAG/ICE tools and strong code/design review skills.

Responsibilities
