Brightstar Lottery is seeking a highly experienced Firmware Engineer with deep expertise in image processing to join our Retail Channel Engineering team in West Greenwich, RI. The role focuses on firmware development, image processing, and AI/ML integration for cutting-edge lottery products.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in C/C++ and strong experience with OpenCV, TensorFlow, and PyTorch, plus Linux proficiency.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of C/C++ software development experience with design and documentation.
• Strong foundation in computer science, mathematics, and physics.
• Proficiency with Linux OS, system-level programming, kernel development, and device drivers.

Responsibilities

• Design, debug, and maintain firmware using C/C++, assembly, and higher-level languages.
• Architect image processing algorithms including OCR/OMR and multi-spectrum imaging.
• Apply AI/ML to improve image recognition and processing capabilities.
