Job summary

Bright Vision Technologies is seeking a Firmware Software Engineer to join a cutting-edge semiconductor initiative. You will collaborate with hardware, verification, and software teams to build scalable firmware, BSPs, and tooling that accelerate design and manufacturing workflows.

You should bring 6+ years of experience, a CS/EE degree, and strong C/C++/Python skills, plus experience with EDA tools, HPC environments, and data pipelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in CS/EE or related field.
• 6+ years of software engineering experience.
• Strong semiconductor industry experience.
• Proficient in C, C++, Python.
• Experience with EDA tools and verification workflows.
• Ability to design scalable firmware and BSPs.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with hardware, verification, and software teams to develop firmware, drivers, and BSPs.
• Build software tools for semiconductor design and verification.
• Create infrastructure supporting EDA workflows in cloud/HPC environments.
• Design post-silicon validation and test automation frameworks.
• Develop data pipelines for silicon characterization and analytics.
• Create hardware debugging and diagnostic tools.
• Work with hardware engineers to ensure reliable software solutions.
• Improve performance and scalability of engineering workflows.
• Lead architecture discussions, code reviews and design reviews.
• Produce technical documentation and architecture diagrams.
• Mentor engineers through technical guidance and reviews.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and propose new tools.
