Job summary
LHP Engineering Solutions in Goleta, CA is seeking an experienced software engineer to design and develop calibration and test software for infrared sensing systems. You will participate in requirements reviews, software design, coding, unit testing, and system integration as part of a hybrid work arrangement with the Goleta team.
Candidates should have 10+ years in C, C++, and/or C#, experience with Visual Studio, SQL Server, embedded Linux and multi-threaded design; familiarity with infrared
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience with C, C++ and/or C# programming
- Experience developing in Visual Studio is highly desired
- Experience programming in a SQL Server environment is highly desired
- Experience testing equipment in thermal chambers highly desired
- Understanding of embedded, multi-threaded software design and implementation
- Ability to understand both hardware and software components of embedded systems
- Excellent knowledge of hardware subsystems and buses I2C, SPI, USB
- Experience with infrared/visible imaging technologies is desirable
- Experience testing high-volume products is helpful
- Experience using AI tools for software development is required
