Job summary

Tampa Electric seeks a Network & Security Systems Analyst Lead to plan, design, implement and support TECO's network and security controls across the enterprise. You will manage firewalls, VPNs, proxies, WAFs and related devices while guiding peers in a high availability environment from the Bearss Operations Center.

Ideal candidates have extensive hands-on experience with Cisco, VMware, NetScaler, DNS/DHCP, and regulatory compliance such as NERC CIP, SOX and PCI, and demonstrate strong

Qualifications

• Required: High School Diploma or GED.
• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, or MIS.
• Minimum eight years of related hands-on experience in Windows, VMware, firewall support, DDoS protection, proxies, WAFs, NetScaler, SANs, or Cisco networking.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, troubleshoot, and remedy server, network, DDoS protection, and security controls related issues.
• Install and configure server and network hardware/software meeting security standards.
• Design and plan small projects; project leadership or peer coaching as needed.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards (NERC CIP, SOX, PCI).
