M.C. Dean is seeking a Sprinkler Technician III to inspect, test and service fire sprinkler systems, lead complex projects, and mentor junior technicians at our Tysons, VA headquarters. A government security investigation and Top-Secret clearance eligibility are required.

Responsibilities include planning, design collaboration, safety adherence, and maintaining detailed service records. Qualifications include a high school diploma or technical degree with extensive relevant experience, NICET II

Responsabilidades

• Perform inspections and testing of fire alarm, special hazard systems, kitchen hoods and pre-action systems.
• Diagnose and resolve complex sprinkler system issues to ensure optimal performance.
• Maintain detailed service records including reports and analyses.
• Supervise and mentor junior technicians on service tasks.
• Lead project planning, design and implementation to improve sprinkler functionality.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to address deficiencies and optimize performance.
• Stay informed on NFPA codes, regulatory changes and safety standards.
• Demonstrate safety, quality service and customer satisfaction in all activities.
• Conduct site surveys for sprinkler upgrades, prepare BOMs, labor projections and schedules.
• Create redline drawings for as-built preparations
• Lead sprinkler projects of varying size and complexity
• Perform five-year internal sprinkler inspections and testing
• Troubleshoot complex fire suppression issues
• Coordinate pre-testing and final acceptance testing with Fire Marshal
• Develop relationships with building owners and managers
• Read wiring diagrams, work orders, schematics and blueprints
• Maintain truck inventory and respond to after-hours service calls
• Pursue and maintain industry certifications with company support
• Conduct system surveys to assess compliance and performance
