Job summary

Fire Pros, LLC is seeking a Lead Fire Sprinkler Technician in Grand Rapids, MI to service, inspect, and repair sprinkler systems for established customers on a scheduled basis and to participate in on-call rotations. The role requires interpreting NFPA 25 during testing and inspections, with a path to NICET Certification in Inspection and Testing of Water Based Systems.

Candidates should be prepared for on-call duties and detailed ticketing.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid driver's license with minimal points.
• Two+ years inspecting and repairing fire sprinkler systems.
• Knowledge of NFPA codes for testing and inspection.
• Willing to pursue NICET certification in Inspection and Testing of Water Based Systems.
• Able to safely work on ladders and lifts up to 12 ft.
• Able to lift up to 70 lbs and work in tight spaces.

Responsibilities

• Conduct service calls, troubleshoot and repair sprinkler systems onsite.
• Interpret and apply NFPA 25 during testing and inspections.
• Prepare accurate service tickets and reports in a timely manner.
• Communicate with customers to explain work and needed repairs.
• Support on-call rotation and on-site emergency responses.
• Maintain organization of tickets and required documentation.
