Job summary

At DynaFire in Saint Petersburg, FL, we are seeking an Experienced Fire Sprinkler Service Technician to perform service calls, troubleshoot, and maintain fire sprinkler systems. You will install and service systems to the highest standards, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum performance while maintaining a safe working environment.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of hands-on experience, a valid driver’s license, and certifications such as FASA and NICET Level I (or equivalent).

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years hands-on experience in fire sprinkler service.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• FASA certification.
• NICET Level I or the equivalent in water based systems within 24 months from date of hire.
• Proficient in office hardware and software tools used by DynaFire.
• Fluent in back-flow, wet system, dry system, fire pump, fire pump controller, and alarm device terminology as well as troubleshooting procedures.

Responsibilities

• Install and service fire sprinkler systems to a wide range of clients with various applications of fire protection systems.
• Perform all tasks listed on service repairs, deficiency, and installation work orders.
• Communicate the needs required for the scope of work to be completed on schedule.
• Answer after-hour service calls when scheduled.
• Follow DynaFire’s safety procedures in addition to the client’s safety program.
• Safely operate construction equipment including, but not limited to, step ladders, extension ladders, scissor lifts, hand tools, power tools, cutting tools, powder-actuated tools.

Education

3+ years hands-on experience in fire sprinkler service

NICET Level I or equivalent within 24 months

FASA certification

Valid Driver's License
