Job summary

Performance Fire Protection, LLC is seeking a Senior Foreman to lead a fire sprinkler crew in installing, maintaining, and inspecting water-based systems across NC, SC, and TN. The role emphasizes project leadership, safety, and on-time delivery, with mentorship for junior foremen and direct accountability to field supervision.

The position requires extensive foreman-level experience, strong communication skills, and adherence to OSHA regulations, with travel to multiple job sites as needed.

Qualifications

• NICET Level II inspection qualification or equivalent experience.
• North Carolina Inspection Technician License is mandatory.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in direct fire protection system inspection.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience as a foreman installing automatic sprinkler systems.
• OSHA 10-hour certification required; OSHA 30-hour preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct and assist assigned crew in fabricating, assembling, installing and maintaining fire sprinkler piping.
• Direct and assist in overhead pipe installation including various sprinkler systems.
• Direct and assist in installing and servicing valves, devices and trims for risers and alarms.
• Communicate with Project Managers and Designers to execute construction plans.
• Ensure accurate reporting of hours worked and submission of timesheets.
• Ensure toolbox talks and inspection reports are completed weekly.
• Ensure projects finish on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
