Job summary

FireTron Inc. is seeking a knowledgeable Fire Sprinkler Designer to join our growing team in the United States. The role involves producing fire protection drawings and hydraulic calculations for commercial projects including healthcare, high-rise, and educational facilities.

Proficiency with AutoSPRINK, AutoCAD, and Navisworks is required, along with a strong NFPA background. The designer will coordinate with project managers, conduct site surveys, and ensure designs meet NFPA and FM Global

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in fire protection system design.
• Familiar with NFPA 13, 14, 20, 22 (2016 or newer).
• BIM experience (Navisworks required).
• Proficient with AutoCAD and third-party design software.

Responsibilities

• Design fire protection systems using architectural and structural data.
• Perform hydraulic calculations for various sprinkler systems.
• Coordinate drawing schedules with project managers to meet deadlines.
• Review design drawings for quality and code compliance.
• Assist and train entry-level designers while promoting teamwork.
