Job summary

Impact Fire Services, LLC seeks a seasoned fire sprinkler design engineer in Houston. You will design systems for commercial and industrial sites, perform site surveys, and prepare piping layouts and hydraulic calculations. You will mentor junior staff and collaborate with clients, consultants, and project teams to ensure codes and approvals are met.

The role requires NFPA knowledge, experience with wet/dry/deluge systems, and proficiency in AutoCAD or AutoSPRINK. A Texas RME-G license is a plus.

Qualifications

• Three years’ experience in fire sprinkler design.
• Familiar with NFPA standards and FM Global guidelines.
• Technical understanding of wet, dry, pre-action, and deluge systems.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD or AutoSPRINK and MS Office programs.

Responsibilities

• Design fire sprinkler systems for commercial and industrial applications.
• Assist management with oversight, training, and mentoring of design staff.
• Provide technical assistance for multiple projects during bidding, design, permitting, and construction.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, and project personnel.
