Job summary

gpac LLC. partners with a respected fire protection contractor to add a proven Sprinkler Designer to their team. This role focuses on designing systems for commercial and residential buildings, producing detailed drawings and hydraulic calculations.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years' experience, NICET Level I+ in Water-Based Systems, and proficiency with AutoCAD, HydraCAD or AutoSPRINK, and NFPA codes. Some travel to job sites may be required.

Qualifications

• NICET Level I or higher in Water-Based Systems is required.
• Experience with AutoCAD, HydraCAD or AutoSPRINK.
• Must know NFPA codes.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Design fire protection systems for commercial and residential buildings.
• Produce detailed drawings and hydraulic calculations for fire sprinkler and pump systems.
• Perform field surveys.

Requirements

• 3+ years' experience
• NICET Level I or higher in Water-Based Systems
• Demonstrated ability with AutoCAD, HydraCAD or AutoSPRINK
• Must know NFPA codes
• Must be self-motivated and work well with others
• Detail oriented and organized with great communication skills
• Ability to travel to job sites and attend meetings when necessary
