Job summary

Mullins Mechanical & Welding, Llc seeks a Fire Protection Superintendent to lead onsite construction teams on complex projects in Georgia. You will coordinate field operations, manage schedules, safety, QA/QC, and collaborate with PMs and subcontractors to meet milestones.

The role requires OSHA 30, proven field leadership, and the ability to review contract documents, manage resources, and drive quality while maintaining site safety and timely project close-out.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a construction Fire Protection Superintendent
• Knowledge of safety, quality, and health guidelines for construction job sites
• In-depth understanding of construction operations and processes
• Proficiency in MS Office and MS Project
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to communicate professionally
• Ability to lead and inspire
• OSHA 30 certification
• Prior experience managing multiple Superintendents required

Responsibilities

• Lead onsite construction as a unified and collaborative team
• Coordinate & oversee day-to-day operations of assigned projects
• Manage field responsibilities on medium to complex projects and supervise several smaller teams
• Collaborate with PM to create and maintain the project schedule
• Lead new hire jobsite introductions, training, and assign jobs
• Conduct direct report employee reviews annually or more often if needed
• Review contract documents and project information
• Enforce Mullins safety policies and conduct toolbox talks
• Prepare two-week look ahead schedule with the PM
• Organize and lead weekly project meetings with Foremen and subcontractors
• Track progress of Foremen and subcontractors to hold them accountable
• Assist PM in purchasing take-offs and project consumables
• Review preliminary project documents
• Attend hand-off meetings to discuss scope and start
• Ensure proper installation of all equipment on project
• Maintain reports and logs like Daily Field Logs and Time Sheets
• Assist in Monthly Billing and Job Cost Updates
• Maintain a clean and orderly jobsite
• Close-out meeting participation
