Clayco seeks a Senior Fire Protection Engineer to lead design and coordination of fire protection systems for mission-critical facilities. You will develop criteria, perform hydraulic calculations, and ensure compliance with NFPA, IBC, and local codes.

Collaboration with mechanical, electrical, and civil teams will be essential to deliver integrated solutions. You will mentor junior engineers, coordinate commissioning, and drive risk assessments to ensure safety and operational continuity on

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Fire Protection Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• 8–12 years of professional experience in fire protection engineering for mission-critical facilities.

Responsabilités

• Lead design, implementation, and coordination of fire protection systems for a wide variety of facilities.
• Design and specify fire protection systems including suppression, alarm, smoke detection, and life safety.
• Perform hydraulic calculations and assess system effectiveness for mission-critical environments.
• Develop design criteria, specs, and project documentation; ensure NFPA/IBC/UL compliance.
• Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, civil engineers and architects for integrated designs.
• Conduct risk assessments and system evaluations to determine optimal solutions.
• Oversee commissioning, testing, and inspections; provide on-site support during construction.
• Mentor junior engineers and stay current with industry trends and best practices.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, and deliverables; prepare reports and presentations for clients/regulators.
• Ensure safety, continuity, and regulatory compliance across projects.
