ProSidian seeks a Senior Fire Protection Engineer to provide engineering services aligned with Fire Protection Engineering and Technical Governance for Navy facilities. The role focuses on AHJ coordination, fire protection design reviews, risk assessments, and modernization support, usually on client sites in the California Central Coast and across the Western United States.

Qualifications

• Engineering expertise in fire protection for Navy facilities and life safety systems.
• Ability to coordinate with Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJs) to resolve code interpretations and approvals.
• Experience performing risk assessments, design reviews, and facility modernization support.

Responsabilités

• Lead design and submittal reviews for Navy facilities ensuring compliance with fire protection and life safety codes.
• Coordinate AHJs to resolve complex interpretations and secure regulatory approvals.
• Develop scope, plans, and execute fire protection initiatives including risk assessments and modernization support.
• Evaluate existing fire protection and life safety systems and document findings with actionable recommendations.
• Oversee assigned responsibilities and support engineering reviews across dispersed naval installations.
• Provide governance and compliance solutions for Defense and National Security clients.
