Job summary

ARORA ENGINEERS, LLC. (ARORA) seeks a Fire Protection Engineer focused on water-based sprinkler, standpipe, fire alarm and special hazards. You will develop comprehensive FLS designs in compliance with NFPA standards and building codes, coordinating with internal teams and external partners.

Responsibilities include documenting technical designs, performing site surveys, reviewing submittals, and responding to RFIs, while maintaining clear client communication and QA/QC of designs.

Qualifications

• Detailed FLS design knowledge for water-based systems and interfaces.
• Thorough understanding of NFPA codes and standards referenced in the role.
• Experience with building codes and fire protection requirements in applicable jurisdictions.
• Ability to write reports, letters, and present complex design concepts clearly.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver technically accurate FLS design documents per codes and project specs.
• Analyze conceptual, working, and detailed designs for new and existing facilities.
• Coordinate FLS designs with architecture, structure, and other systems.
• Perform site surveys, reviews, RFIs, and punch list generation.
• Communicate with team members, consultants, clients, and authorities having jurisdiction.
