The role involves life safety, security and mass notification among other services. The candidate should bring a strong background in project management, code consulting, and fire protection design, with eight years of relevant experience and preferably a PE in Fire Protection.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or higher in Engineering, preferably Fire Protection.
• Minimum eight years of experience including Code Consulting, Smoke Control Design and Commissioning, and Fire Protection System Design.
• Excellent report writing and interpersonal skills; ability to present fire protection strategies to a diverse audience.
• Project management and fire protection engineering experience.
• Experience in code consulting, design of fire suppression and alarm systems, and developing performance-based strategies.
• Registered Fire Protection Engineer strongly desired (New York, New Jersey or New England).
• New York or Massachusetts specific fire and building code experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Project Management - planning and directing engineering, budgeting and scheduling activities.
• Conduct building and fire code reviews and analyses.
• Prepare and present technical reports and presentations.
