Job summary

Responsibilities

• Enforce County and State Fire Codes and permits.
• Perform on-site inspections at in-progress construction sites for compliance.
• Witness initial functional tests of fire protection systems.
• Prepare formal inspection reports and memos.
• Review NFPA/IBC codes and standards.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, developers, and the public.
• Perform permit reviews for suppression/alarms.
