Job summary

Firetron Inc. is seeking highly skilled and licensed Fire Alarm Technicians with a Texas FAL or APS license. You will lead projects, ensure code compliance, and mentor junior staff while maintaining top-tier customer service and safety standards.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of fire alarm experience, expertise with NFPA 72 and TDI rules, and the ability to communicate effectively with contractors and clients on complex installations.

Qualifications

• Valid Texas FAL license issued by TDI (APS preferred but not required).
• 5+ years in fire alarm systems with at least 2 years in a senior/lead capacity.
• Strong working knowledge of NFPA 72, NEC, IBC/IFC, and TDI regulations.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and system schematics.
• Valid Texas driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Install, program, and test fire alarm systems in commercial, institutional, and industrial environments.
• Troubleshoot and repair faulty systems, wiring, or components.
• Lead on-site installation and service projects.
• Mentor, train, and support junior technicians and apprentices.
• Interface with general contractors, subcontractors, and clients during installations and inspections.
