APIC Solutions is seeking a Senior Fire Alarm Technician to lead the installation, programming, troubleshooting, testing, inspection, and maintenance of fire alarm systems in commercial, industrial, and institutional environments.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of hands-on experience, relevant certifications, and a proven track record of delivering reliable fire safety solutions while mentoring junior technicians.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience in fire alarm system installation, service, inspection, or maintenance.
• Demonstrated expertise and proven track record with complex fire alarm projects.
• Leadership or mentoring experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install conduit, wire, fire alarm panels and initiating devices.
• Program and configure fire alarm systems per drawings and requirements.
• Coordinate with electricians and project managers to complete installations on time.
• Perform system startup, commissioning, and ensure integration with building systems.
• Diagnose and repair faults; respond to service calls as needed.
• Conduct NFPA 72, NEC, IBC inspections and document results.
• Mentor junior technicians on troubleshooting and best practices.
