Job summary

Shambaugh & Son, L.P. is seeking an experienced Senior Fire Alarm and Special Hazards Estimator in Fort Wayne, Indiana. This role entails estimating complex fire protection systems for large projects exceeding $1 million, developing bid drawings, and maintaining communication with clients throughout project lifecycles.

The ideal candidate will have a technical degree or equivalent experience, at least five years in the fire protection industry, and NICET level II certification. Excellent communication and organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Degree in technical or business discipline preferred or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Fire Protection industry.
• Minimum of NICET level II in Fire Alarm and/or Special Hazards.

Responsibilities

• Develop relationships with clients through marketing strategies.
• Perform detailed site surveying of bid projects.
• Project management responsibilities including tracking project progress.

Skills

NICET level II in Fire Alarm and/or Special Hazards

Good computer skills (Microsoft Excel and Word)

Ability to multi-task

Excellent communication skills

AutoCad experience

Education

Degree in technical or business discipline

5+ years’ experience in Fire Protection industry
