Job summary

M.C. Dean seeks a Fire Alarm Inspector 3 to lead inspections and testing of complex fire alarm systems, ensuring NFPA 72 compliance and safety standards.

You will mentor junior technicians, document results, and interact with customers and account managers. This role may require up to 15% travel across the United States and requires U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 3+ years related experience; tech degree with 1+ year experience.
• Must pass drug screen and background check; U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain Secret clearance.
• NICET I/II certification required; NICET III preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee inspections and advanced testing of fire alarm systems for NFPA 72 compliance.
• Test devices and troubleshoot components; document results in testing reports.
• Coordinate travel up to 15% and communicate findings to customers and managers.
