Job summary

Luma Financial Technologies is seeking a seasoned Software Development Engineer to design and implement integrations with our fintech platform. You will collaborate with engineers, product owners, and business teams to deliver scalable, secure solutions with a focus on test coverage, CI/CD, and production support.

The role requires leading high-quality code, mentoring juniors, and working across time zones in a fast-paced, agile environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in CS, Engineering or related field.
• 7+ years of professional software development experience.
• Excellent communication and teamwork.
• Proven record in fast-paced, agile environments.
• Experience designing large-scale, secure, high-traffic distributed systems.
• Proven ability to write high-quality, scalable and maintainable code.
• Strong React and Angular frontend expertise.
• Strong Java and Spring Boot expertise.
• Experience with relational and non-relational databases.
• Experience with Microservices architecture and design patterns.
• Experience collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to build end-to-end solutions.
• Hands-on cloud computing experience (AWS preferred).
• Hands-on experience with AI-DLC tools.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable SPA based on microservice architecture.
• Develop and maintain high-performance React and Spring Boot applications.
• Make technical decisions to design scalable, maintainable system architecture.
• Design data models in relational and non-relational databases.
• Create comprehensive testing strategies.
• Implement robust monitoring and alerting solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine technical solutions.
• Work in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
• Stay updated with new technologies and best practices.
• Mentor junior engineers in AI-DLC practices.
